Dr. Jeremy J. Flowers, Sr.

Dr. Jeremy Flowers was born in Detroit, Michigan and started preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of 13 years old simultaneous to being the youngest student ever enrolled at the Midwestern Christian Institute in Mt. Clemens, MI. Dr. Flowers has matriculated academically at Midwestern Christian Institute (Where he currently serves on the Faculty), Southwestern Christian College (Associates & Bachelor of Science in Religious Education), Amberton University (Master of Science in Family Studies with a Human Behavior & Development concentration) & Argosy University College of Business (Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership).

Dr. Flowers is married to the former Tamica Henderson of Wylie, Texas who currently serves as an Educator in Hamilton County, OH. To their union they have two sons, Jeremy Jr. & Joshua Flowers and a Great Dane puppy named Cliff.

Dr. Flowers serves as the Senior Minister to the Gray Road Church of Christ in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he has been proudly laboring since January 2014. Dr. Flowers has ministered to churches professionally in Michigan, Tennessee and now Ohio and his ministry for Jesus Christ has traveled the length and breadth of the United States as well as internationally in the countries of Canada, France, Jamaica, Belize & the Cayman Islands.

In addition to ministry Dr. Flowers is employed as the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy where he is responsible for developing district-wide diversity initiatives while simultaneously maintaining a culture of equity and inclusion across four campus locations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Dr. Flowers also has extensive experience in leading 501c3 organizations where he has been successful in securing major grants from state & municipal governments as well as corporate foundations. Dr. Flowers currently is a member of the Board of Directors for several sectarian and non-sectarian community based organizations as well as having served previously as a post-secondary educator & administrator for several colleges/universities. Dr. Flowers is also an author and has a published work to his credit entitled “Fresh Water from a Dirty Cup” and is currently writing a second book to be released in 2021.

Dr. Flowers is an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and currently serves as the Vice-President to the Delta Theta Sigma Alumni Chapter.
